Our banner greeters did a great job!
Today was the first service of The River. We met in the conference center of the local Marriott. There were the (unexpected) expected technical difficulties… a few more than I had hoped for lol. Where to start, the projector didn’t work, the sound system decided to have a power failure, the internet was too slow to use for the presentation… you get the idea. Fortunately, we were there in enough time to come up with workarounds before the service began.
“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (I Thes. 5:18). It’s always a great indicator that you are in God’s will when the enemy fights you.
Since most of the advertising will not start until this week, I wasn’t sure how many to expect. I was pleased that there were almost 20 people there to join us in worship of our Lord. Thanks to all who came and to the ones who helped prepare for the service. I preached on “No Rhema Shall Be Impossible.” At the end of the service we all had prayer for God to bring revival to the area and pour out His Spirit.
I’m already excited for next week…
